Abstract

Due to the variety of data types in the ontology environment, such as image, video, and text, information extraction relevant to user queries is a difficult task. Today cloud computing as a novel way to turn the big data challenge into a huge opportunity. The use of appropriate semantic entities enables annotated text content-based search. Domain ontology is used to define high-level semantic concepts and their relationships in the context of the domain under consideration. To improve video semantic analysis, low-level features and video content analysis algorithms are integrated into the ontology. This is intended to use Cloud computing to perform efficient and accurate retrieval of a large collection of videos and images, which will then support semantic image and video searching.OntoImVid structure is created from both image and video semantic analysis results. Proposed OntoImVid combines the image and Video retrieval in same semantic retrieval technique in efficient manner.
